now.
As we progress in our journey, our partners and supporters play a crucial role. Today, Mamta has more than 800 people spread across 100 districts of 7 states in India. As an institution, it puts a strong emphasis on promoting equity and inclusion through rights-based policy and program interventions.
Mamta has been conducting a Scholarship Program for the
past 7 years to promote health, socio-behavioural and policy research in priority areas that impact
adolescents, which is meant to develop evidence to guide policy. This scholarship is an opportunity
for postgraduates and PhD students in India, to contribute to public health research on critical
issues affecting adolescent's health to advance adolescent's development and well-being.
As part of its scholarship program, Mamta also offers mentoring support to scholarship holders.
This support includes guidance and technical inputs from experts during all stages of the study
process including design, data analysis, quality assurance, interpretation of results and scientific
writing. Applications for the scholarship program 2023-24 are open and the last date for application is 20th September 2023. The application must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure 1-4) along with all the necessary documents (listed in section G of the guideline).

Mamta believes in partnerships and network strengthening. At

to build new partnerships in the areas of community engagement approaches, data and research, policy
advocacy and innovations with technology.
We have a long history of partnering with government and apex resource institutions, UN and
international agencies, researchers and academic institutions and corporates to uncover evidence on
what works in public health, measure the success of programmes, and share lessons learnt to inform
