social and economic challenges for over three decades
now.
In 2015 Mamta commenced the "MAMTA Research Scholarship Excellence Awards". The scholarship aims to promote health, socio-behavioural and policy research in priority areas that impact adolescents of India. This scholarship is an opportunity for postgraduates and PhD students in India to contribute to adolescent health research advancing adolescent's development and well-being. The evidence generated will facilitate strengthening program and policy implementation promoting adolescent health in the Indian context.
Mamta offers mentoring support to scholarship holders. This support includes continuous guidance and technical inputs from experts at all stages of the research process including research design, data analysis, quality assurance, results interpretation and scientific writing.
